We are a small school by design. Class sizes are capped to small student-teacher ratio to ensure your child has the attention of their teacher and opportunities for conversations and not instruction. A conversation with us before an application is not just welcome, it is encouraged. We are keen to ensure families fully understand what ELC is, and what it is not.
Who ELC is for.
ELC suits children who are curious, who benefit from space to work at their own pace, and whose families feel aligned with our approach to learning. We hope our foundational philosophies remain consistent for the child at school, and at home. Again, the best way to see if we’re the right choice for your child is a heart-to-heart conversation with us.

Book a school visit
The next step is always a visit. See the school in session. Speak with our teachers. Watch how children use the ELC space to learn and grow. We encourage this before you fill our forms.
Submit an application
Applications are accepted for all stages from Playgroup through Grade 8. Download the relevant brochure for your child's stage, then complete the application form.
A meeting of minds
Once we've reviewed your application, you will be invited to the school for a conversation with our principal and teachers. This is not an interview of the child — it is a meeting of minds between the school and the family.
Enrolment
Successful applicants receive an offer. Enrolment is confirmed on acceptance and payment of the admissions deposit. Places are limited and offered on a rolling basis.
